A downloadable "game" for Windows and macOS

In D-Pad Dungeon,  you are the controller. In this bullet-hell rogue-like, dodge electrical equipment and collect button power-ups to stay alive, in a dungeon where taking damage causes you to lose control. . .(literally). But don't worry, the screen wraps around so the opposite edges connect (like a big globe).

Explore countless levels (3) in this epic saga. Try to beat the bosses and conquer the dungeon!

really fun game, i got a lot better since las time i played but i couldnt defeat the boss :(
it could be nice that the control item to gain more control would be for all 4 directions to make it more easier.

still a fun game that has inspired me to make my own bullet hell prototype

Glad you liked it! We're in the process of revamping the game with tons of new content, and a better health item is being added to balance the difficulty. Happy to hear you've been inspired :D Thanks so much for playing and leaving a comment!

Nice little concept with fun difficulty and good art style. That you can wrap around the screen but the enemies can't works great for strategy, and is really helpful when you run out of directions to move in but the power up you need is on the other side.

Once I realized that the large hitboxes of the AB buttons basically made it only a matter of time until I would lose them, I started using their powers much more generously instead of "saving them for the right time", which made the game more enjoyable actually.

When you get to the joystick boss it seems that it's pretty tough though, when your movement is limited and you have no means of attack. I couldn't really tell if the joystick was also losing power over time like the other enemies, might have just missed that indicator. If it doesn't lose power over time, then maybe a few more drops of the attack button would be nice :)

But well done overall

Thanks so much! The joystick boss actually should be dropping attack (A Button) drops every time he finishes the dash attack (so when he comes back on the screen and is "dizzy", not moving). But sometimes they can get covered by enemies or spawn underneath him, which can be a bit annoying or make it seem like they aren't there. We'll work on that in the future. Thanks a bunch for the feedback, we're glad you enjoyed the game :D
