Agoraboros

Explore the remains of a Greek Structure dedicated to the mythical Ouroboros and uncover the secrets of the peculiar paintings that riddle the monument.

Controls:

WASD movement

Mouse to look around. Click and drag to interact with tiles.  (In browser, the cursor won't always be where the center dot is! Sorry!)

E: press when looking at a complete puzzle to solve it!

*Known Bugs*: 

• The mouse is STINKY. What was working in the engine no longer works in web. for web security reasons, browsers don't allow full mouse locking (makes sense) which breaks our game's interactions (darn). Just know that when you click, your cursor will likely not be in the center of your screen. 
• The red puzzle with the cracked tile has it's solution slightly off.  We are sorry; sometimes it helps to thrash the cracked tiles around a bit. We're not sure why, but it works. (We miscalculated one of the tiles when setting the solution)
• The teal puzzle in the grass area gets solved as soon as you touch it. This is not supposed to happen.  There is a proper solution that you can look for yourself, or hop down lower on the page and we have a spoiler for it.
• The moon seems really bright... (its not supposed to look like that, there was a sneaky extra light we forgot to remove)

If you're a bit confused after starting, read on:

Your goal is to solve all of the puzzles in the ruins by dragging the looping the textures on the tiles into positions to make complete ouroboroses.. ourobori? 

(A complete loop must be made, and a head eating its tail must be part of that loop for it to count as complete!)

Don't forget to press 'E' when looking at a complete puzzle to lock in your solution!

Try shifting your perspective to find...creative ways to close the loop...

SPOILER AHEAD:

The puzzle in the courtyard can be solved seemingly without making a loop. Try messing with the position of the sun. There's a shadow that lines up nicely (but our function to check it doesn't work very well).
